My morning ritual
In the morning, I take 15 to 20 minutes to stretch and meditate. Having this moment for myself before tackling the day makes me feel stronger – more prepared, I guess, for whatever might happen.My evening ritual
In the evening, I like to journal and reflect on what I’m grateful for. Most nights I light an AKI lamp. For me, this small oil lamp has become a symbol of peace and quiet. It marks the end of my work day, the end of my mama day, and the start of a sweet chapter of well-deserved me-time!I think it’s very important to surround ourselves with objects that have a meaning for us. It’s undoubtedly the best way to embrace a considered lifestyle and avoid letting pointless clutter into our lives.
